Cruise’n Silsbee Car Show – September 24

If you’re looking for something fun to do in Silsbee on the weekend, be sure to check out the Cruise’n Silsbee Car Show on Saturday, September 24 at Kirby Memorial Football Stadium. The first show was established in 1999 by a group of local car enthusiasts looking to raise money for local charities while showcasing their love for their vehicles. Organizations benefitted by the event in the past include police and fire departments as well as local scholarships.

This year, the all-day event (starting at 8am, with an award ceremony at 3pm) includes door prizes, local food vendors, a burn-out contest, and a 50/50 drawing. Cars, trucks, and motorcycles from all around will be featured while a live DJ will play a variety of favorites as you admire hotrods, muscle cars, and classics.

Following the awards ceremony, the Silsbee Police Department will provide an escort for all of the car show participants for a parade cruise.

Don’t forget to stop by on Friday night (23rd) for a free concert sponsored by Eastex Credit Union. The Bryce Shaver Band will be jamming out in the carnival type atmosphere to celebrate the upcoming car show. For more details about the event, visit: and we hope to see you there!
